there were lovely persimmons trees on the property that i walked yesterday for a new project.the project is a beautiful mid-century residence designed by cliff may (the father of the ranch house) on a quarter acre overlooking the southbay. the hillsides are covered by fruit trees and dripping with possibility. i'm looking forward to doing a major clean-up in the landscape...using plants that highlight the original intent of the structure and it's beautifully designed indoor-outdoor relationship. right now it's overgrown and lacking identity. it's going to be a really fun process, so i'll post project photos as we progress.
